Each instructor is affectionately known as “sensei” which means “teacher” in Japanese. At Heguru Hong Kong, our teaching staff supports and applies 100% the innovative learning methods by Henmi Educational General Laboratory (HEGL). To maintain the highest standards of teaching, our senseis undergo rigorous courses throughout the year to enhance their skills and to update their knowledge of the Heguru Method. Our sensei are personally trained and guided by the founders of the Heguru Method themselves, Mr and Mrs Henmi.

Do we fully utilise our brain? In many areas of our educational system, the right side of the brain has no role to play or very limited role to show. Under utilization of right lobe of brain could be the biggest deterrent to our children’s academic and professional success. My sons have been receiving right brain training since 0 year old. It started with me playing flash cards with them at home. I would flash the same sets of cards 3-5 times a day, for only 2-3 minutes, for 7 days a week and change to the next sets of cards and repeat the program.

Recently, an amazing right brain training educational center HEGURU has arrived HK (I’ve been waiting for quite a few years)! I’m really excited to share it. I’ve attended the first lesson at HEGURU with my boys and their verdict, “Mama this is the most FUN flash cards class ever!” Seeing their enthusiasm and smiles made my day!!
